Arinsal
is situated in the duty-free principality of Andorra set high
in the Pyrenees between France and Spain. Andorra has so much
to offer, an excellent snow record, long sunny days, great
après ski, all at superb value-for-money prices. This
compact resort, combined with the lovely tree-lined runs of
neighbouring PAL (linked by the new gondola that opened in
January 2001) has something for every grade of skier and is
particularly suitable for beginners and intermediates. A regular
bus service (free with your pre-paid lift pass during the
day) will take you from your accommodation to the main lifts
of both Arinsal and Pal.
Arinsal
has installed a new cable car; the great symbol of the Pal-Arinsal
union. This cable car is the first and only in Andorra. A
spectacular means of transport with a capacity of 50 people
per car (500 people/hour) which will allow them to unite Pal
and Arinsal into one unique resort. Its route (fast and confortable)
will offer spectacular views.
Also new at the resort, the Arinsal sector gains in snow quality
and quantity thanks to the 24 new artificial snow canons that
will cover two more pistes. In addition to the snow-making,
Arisnal have specially conditioned the pistes so that they
will give access to the cable-car to facilitate arrivals and
to make transfers easier.
Arinsal's
infrastructure includes four quad chairs, and it has the steepest
slope in Andorra. The resort's night life is one of the most
active, young and cosmopolitan in the Pyrenees.

with Crystal guests under local management, the Montané
is now managed by Crystal Holidays and is the latest
Club Hotel addition to our Andorran programme. The hotel
comprises of two stylish buildings connected by an atrium
style staircase. The restaurant, located on the first
floor, has stunning views of Pic Negre, the second highest
peak in Arinsal.
The Montane sleeps 62-66 in twin, triple and family
rooms. All bedrooms have private bath, WC, satellite
