Brandon
Block
Building
on his profile Brandon Block has many a hidden talent that
does not include, despite media industry rumours, Stage storming!
Not only is he a legendary DJ but he also has renowned and
respected success in his recording career. He now has his
own Mustard record label and Mustard management company.
Having hit the no 3 spot in the UK national charts with the
Blockster track "You should be dancing" in 1999
the nation was brought a stage closer to realising that Brandon
was a lot more than just a predictable DJ and has become ever
increasingly popular since the release.
Going from strength to strength in both his DJing and the
chart success, London born Brandon's unique aptitude to be
able to read a crowd has him filling dance floors year in
and year out both in the UK and also worldwide.
With Djing residencies in the UK including; Area, Ministry
of Sound, Passion, Progress, the gallery, Gatecrasher, Gods
Kitchen, Slinky, Freedom, to name but a few Brandon still
finds time to sparkle on international shores including Australia,
Hong Kong, Rimini, Spain, Israel, Singapore, Thailand, Dubai,
Africa, U.S.A. Cyprus, Italy, etc etc.
Brandon is also one of the hardest working DJ's in the UK,
not being one for sitting still and taking it easy Brandon
has got a personality that cries out to be on the stage. This
in demand talent now has elevated him to television status
and now he hosts a weekly TV show on Rapture with the ex page
three stunner Jordan as his co presenter, the show is called
Brandon Block's Brits.
Also recently Brandon filmed a documentary for Sky One that
was filmed whilst on tour in Las Vegas.
Earlier this year Brandon hosted the Brits backstage area
live from Earls Court.
In
June this year Brandon also co hosted the Dancestar awards
2001 that was shown on Channel four. As well as the television
shows Brandon also co hosts a weekly Radio show on London's
Kiss Fm, the show airs on Saturday nights and is one of the
country's most eagerly awaited weekly radio shows as Brandon
and partner in crime, Alex P, present a show that others can
only dream about.
The
coming months are already mapped out with presenting the DFC
dance floor chart on MTV for the next 26 weeks as they tour
around various nightclubs in the UK.
Brandon
also writes a weekly column for the national newspaper the
Daily star.
As
well as studio work Brandon is currently putting the finishing
touches to a project called Phat Mustard where Brandon teams
up with M&S productions, the guy's responsible for Salsoul
Nugget a huge club hit of this year.
As
well as running the record label and management company Brandon
will concentrate on his individuality, personality and a fresh
approach as an artist. There is no comparison to BRANDON BLOCK.
